Detailed Tasks Assigned:

IT in Economics, IT in Economic Education, Economics of Information Systems.

Begin 1980-s was involved in a big development program of the computerization of the MSU College of Economics. The new technologies helped raise the level of teaching within the economic courses. This results allowed MSU in 1994 to create within the Economics College the new Department of Economic Informatics, which I have led ever since .

The new field of IT involvement brought with it problems of IT application in education from the point of view not of technical, but rather economic effectiveness. My experience in IT application within the education process led to my being invited by Information Business Systems (IBS AG) to run the corporate Academy, created in order to provide high level specialists for the corporation. As a rector of the Academy I took part in organizing IBS faculties at the Moscow Physical Technical Institute, the Institute of Steel and Information Technologies (ISIT) and the Higher School of Economics. IBS developed curricula for Masters courses for these faculties and provided scientific advisers and a base for gaining

practical experience. This was an excellent experience of preparing superb specialists in collaboration of commercial and academic entities.

Visible results of this activity: creation the new direction of education and consulting in the field of Economics of Information Systems. New curricula at the university, national research project “Economic Efficiency of IT at Russian Enterprises” 2010-2013, IT – efficiency consulting agreement with Surgutneftegaz AG, since 2011 – present.

Nowadays I enjoy carrying out research in my new field of analyzing mutual penetration processes învolving information technology and art.
